Our Story
Interfields Equestrian Ltd was established in 2007. Over the years we have developed our property facilitating fantastic world class facilities. It was the brainwave of Teresa Cresswell to provide facilities to local riders for stabling and training of horses, in particular, event horses, which is Teresa’s passion.
Saffron Cresswell, Teresa’s daughter started competing at age three, in local gymkhanas and fancy-dress classes, this soon progressed to affiliated showing and working hunter with a variety of ponies. Realising great success, travelling the length and breadth of the country competing at Royal Windsor Horse Show, Royal International Horse show and Hoys.
In 2014 we purchased Cuffesgrange Little Ric, a small show jumping pony, to start pony eventing taking part in their first BE90 in spring 2014, rapidly going up through the levels.
Saffron and Ric won the final pony selection trial in July 2015 at Barbury International Horse Trials and were selected to represent team GB in Malmo at the European Championships in August 2015. Placed 5th Individually as a member of the Gold Medal winning team. Saffron then decided she wanted to event professionally.
2015 and beyond
To support Saffron in her quest to become a professional international event rider, the family choose to invest into ‘Interfields’ to create a world class private event yard and training facility.
Saffron continued to event ponies, then horses for the next ten years, with great success, as part of the British Equestrian young talent programme. Travelling all over Europe with some momentous achievements on both her own and owner’s horses.
Saffron’s eventing career aligned with her accredited coaching, was really starting to flourish. Saffron continues to instruct pupils at Interfields.
Interfields has now expanded its client base group to include, pony club, riding club and local riders into a safe, fun, educational training facility with Saffron plus other accredited instructors participating in clinics and camps
Our Facilities
Stables
American Barn with eight 12 x 12 stables. Fully equipped with automatic water drinkers, full height corner hay racks, each box has an exterior window. Tack room, Feed Room, Wash Bay with hot water and solarium. Plentiful storage.
Horse Walker
Claydon Horse walker with rubber flooring.
Rest room
12 x 14 with electricity, tea and coffee making facilities.
Arena
65m x 35m sand and fibre, regularly watered, with seating area, full set of show jumps, plus arena cross country fences. 16 arena lights providing perfect lighting during the winter months.
