Disclaimer of liability and agreement for the use of the facilities at Interfields Equestrian Centre
“The Hirers” are Interfields Equestrian Ltd, operating name Interfields Equestrian Centre
“The Premises” is the land on which Interfields Equestrian Ltd operate.
“The Facility / Facilities” is the show jumping arena / dressage arena, stables and car park and any other part of the premises operated by Interfields.
“The Rider(s)” is / are the persons using the facilities who are responsible for any trainer, spectator, groom, assistant, observer, or animal in attendance at the premises with the Rider.
Please report any accidents immediately.
Please report any issues or damage to us before vacating the premises so that we can keep the premises to the high standard we adhere to.

Terms and conditions of Booking
- All visitors agree to pay in advance via the online booking system, within which you agree to our Terms, Conditions and Disclaimer
- Your online payments go direct to our bank account through a secure payment service provider
- Online payments will receive a confirmation of payment by email / text within minutes of making the payment
Please contact us if you do not receive an email, having first checked your spam filter - All transactions and online payments are made in £ Pound Sterling
- Interfields Ltd shall not be liable, in the event that facilities are not available due to circumstances beyond our control (acts of God, weather) or the facility is unsuitable for use due to sustained loss of essential services. In these circumstances, all charges paid in advance will be refunded in full, but the person / organiser will have no further claim against the company
- No Horses other than those to be ridden on the arena are permitted on the premises
- The Hirers reserve the right to cancel any reservations without notice. The Hirers reserve the right to refuse any booking or admission. The Hirer cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss or liability howsoever caused. Any Cancellations will receive a refund in full
- All visitors must park their vehicles on the designated parking area as sign posted
- Smoking is not permitted on the Premises. Please take litter home with you and clear all droppings / hay from the lorry park
- No dogs permitted on the premises
- Adhere to arena rules – Leave jumps set up as they were on arrival poo picking is mandatory
- Equine Vaccinations must be within 12 months – if not with date you will be turned away
- Users are required to close the gates of all Facilities whether entering or exiting the facilities and to obey all other signage
Disclaimer
- Save for death or personal injury caused by negligence, neither Interfields Equestrian Ltd, nor its owners or associates (“The Hirers’) accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to riders, horse owners, spectators, property, vehicles and their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever
- Riding and working with horses can be dangerous and horses can be unpredictable. Persons on the premises or using the facility do so at their own risk and the hirers will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss
- All riders must wear a riding hat confirming to the current BHS, British Eventing, or Pony Club standard at all times, whilst mounted. Suitable footwear must be worn whilst mounted. Any ‘body protector’ must conform to the current BHS or British Eventing standard including for the avoidance of any doubt in the arena. It is highly recommended that any person under the age of 16 wears a hat confirming to recognised standards when handling horses. It is strongly recommended for adults to wear a hat conforming to recognised standards when handling horses
- You must be suitably skilled to jump fences and only tackle fences that are within your’ s and your horse’s capability
- All riders must be accompanied by another responsible person who must have access to a mobile telephone in order to summon assistance in the event of an emergency. Lone riders (Dressage only) please ensure that your emergency contact is contactable
- All riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult and must be kept under supervision always. No children under the age of 6 years. Young children must be supervised on a one-to-one basis
- Riders and their trainers, coaches, spectators and helpers, must not cause a nuisance or disturbance to any other person using or at the premises
- The Hirers are not responsible for the ground conditions or damage caused to the ground and / or show jumping fences, dressage markers, caused by other users and their animals. The Hirers are not responsible for other persons / animals using the facilities lawfully and / or any person unlawfully using the facilities or trespassing onto the facility
- Trainers, coaches, teachers or any person responsible for the rider must hold public liability insurance for no less than £2,000,000 (two million pounds) and any person bringing a groom, rider, or paid assistance into the premises must hold appropriate employer’s liability insurance
- Riders. trainers, coaches, spectators and helpers are required not to alter any show jumping lines or distances (including fillers and poles) and return any other items moved from their original position on any facility to their original position
- If you book for other people, it is your responsibility to ensure they agree to Interfields Equestrian Ltd Terms, Conditions & Disclaimer for Hire before attending Interfields Equestrian Centre. Full details on our website
- Riders and their trainers, spectators and helpers must not take any glass or breakable objects onto any of the facilities. All and any items taken onto the facilities must be removed at the end of the relevant sessions
- By riding at the premises, the rider accepts that they / their trainer, coach or responsible adult has surveyed the facilities (and any obstacles such as show jumps) and the ground conditions and understand that they / their trainer/ coach are responsible for assessing the suitability of the ground conditions and / or suitability, construction and maintenance of the jumps / obstacles / fences
- The Hirers reserve the right to request that riders / trainers / coaches / owners or any other person using the facilities do leave in circumstances where in the opinion of the Hirers and / or management a person is creating a dangerous situation, riding in a dangerous manner and / or where a person is mistreating a horse or acting irresponsibly. Where a person is asked to leave, they must refrain from jumping any further jumps and immediately return to their mode of transport and remove the horse and themselves from the premises.
- The Hirers require that the owner / keeper / rider of any horse using the Facilities have suitable insurance for the horse in respect of third-party liability and recommend injury, veterinary fees and death cover
- Please ensure that you have your own appropriate personal and public liability insurance
- The Hirer is not responsible for the provision of ‘First Aid’ personal or equipment on The Premises or The Facilities at any time and cannot be accountable to provide First Aid. The Rider (or any group organiser/trainer/responsible adult) agrees to ensure their own provision of first aid
- All users of The Facilities or visitors to The Premises must read, understand and abide by the Hirers Health and Safety Statement.
- All breakages must be paid for in full by The Rider or their Responsible Adult. CCTV is facilitated to monitor attendance. Individuals found in breach of these Terms and Conditions may face fines or a ban
- The Hirer(s) reserve the right to take both still photographic and moving video images on The Premises, The Facilities, and Rider(s) at any time. By using the Facilities, The Rider(s) and any connections agree to release all image rights in those still and video images and agree that the Hirer can use such images for any promotion of the Hirer’s operations or any other purpose The Hirer may at their absolute discretion deem appropriate without consultation or payment to any other person
- Riders and their connections agree and consent that The Hirer(s) may use any still photography and moving video images of the Facilities and Rider(s) that are posted on any website, blog, print media or social media site at any time for any purpose. By uploading or posting any still or moving video images of The Premises or The Facilities The Rider(s), photographer and their connections agree to release all image rights and agree that the Hirer can use such images for any promotion of the Hirers operations or any other purpose the Hirer may at their absolute discretion deem appropriate without consultation or payment to any other person
- Cancellation / reschedule – To make a cancellation or reschedule, under exceptional circumstances a credit to your account will be issued, to be used within 6 months.
Cancellation by the venue will result in an automatic refund - Gates to the premises can be opened at 7am until last horse at 8pm. No entry at all other times
- I acknowledge that any failure to comply to our Terms & Conditions & Disclaimer may result in myself and any companions being asked to leave the premises, and any future booking refused
Stable and hook up Hire
- When booking stabling, all visitors must bring their own hay, feed, mucking out equipment and any individual requirements
- All horses stabling on our premises must be up to date with their vaccination
- Interfields Ltd reserve the right to refuse a booking / evict a horse if the horse is not up to date with its vaccination or if the horse presents signs of illness that could compromise the health of the other horses on the premises
- The booking includes hours of arrival 3pm and departure by 11am, these must be respected
- Please use one stable for one horse
- All stables must be mucked out before departure otherwise Interfields Ltd will be at liberty to invoice you for the work required to clear the stable after use, then reserve the right to refuse your future booking
- The muck removed from the stables must be dumped in the muck trailers on the yard.
- The muck must be forked up appropriately
- If you booked a hook up, please unsure that you have the necessary equipment to plug in your lorry
- ‘Camping’ is not permitted on the premises
- Any damage caused to the stables must be reported immediately and may be chargeable
